T-minus 18 months and counting....
I hesitated to put these up, because I am not photogenic, and these pics downright scare me. But, it's all about the reality of life! Hope these don't break anyone's computers....
I WILL have straight teeth! I just hope having these put on doesn't mean I develop acne as well...but if they make my gray hairs disappear, that would be nice! At least the worst of the soreness has gone away, and the inside of my cheeks no longer resemble ground beef.
I sure hope I can still get a date to prom!

Lucky! you could hardly tell! you look great! i am sadly dying to have braces again!i totally need them since my wisdom teeth decided to come in at 27. and just think hottie in 18 months! love fabulous teeth!
You ARE a goofball! BUT you'll soon be a goofball with straight teeth so you'll definitely be one up on me! I remember the pain. Oh the horror! But feel better knowing that you already have a date to the prom. I got braces the same year I got glasses and not surprisingly DIDN'T go to prom that year. I hate boys! You're my hero!
Hey, see if you can milk it for some nights of not cooking....make everyone eat smoothies and pudding along with you! I've never had braces, but half my sibs did and it never looked fun. My sympathies.
Hey Brace Face!!!Good for you!...I'm sure Ron will still take you to the prom!...at least you don't have glasses and a head gear! :) Your beautiful smile will be even more beautifuller!
Oh MY!! I am feeling your pain I have had braces a number of times. I actually lost count 4 or 5 and it will be worth it I promise!! I also am a orthodontic assistant. Rinse with warm salt water it helps retain moisture in the tissues in your mouth and makes the adjustment so much easier.I can not wait to see the finshed product!
