I really need another warm and dry day to send my kids out into. They have so much cooped up energy right now, but it's too cold, snowy, and slushy to send them outside. So they are downstairs shrieking and yelling so loud that I am biting my tongue to not tell them to quiet and settle down. Any second now one of them is going to run into something solid, or each other, and come up bawling and hurt.
I really need more sleep so that my kids energy doesn't sap me to the bone! Maybe tonight.
Thank you for reading.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled blog enjoyment.
**edited to add: Jared was playing with my old recorded receipts earlier. He was calling them his addresses. I picked them up and threw them away about an hour ago, because he was no longer playing with them. I just found out now though that he wasn't "done" with them...oops. He's now in his room having a receipts in the garbage induced meltdown.**

First, how'd you get my picture?
Second, I need more sleep too...this dang blogging crap has got me all messed up!!
Third, I too need my kids to get outta here! They just barely started back to school TODAY!!!!
I hope you get some sleep tonight! :)
k me too!
and i am whining about 45 degrees. but it's too cold for me.
i hope you get a warm spell here soon. or at least nice solid dry snow to play in.
is there such a thing? i have no clue on the snow.
We could put Jared and Rachel in a room together and let themselves meltdown to each other. Then you and I could sip some gourmet cocoa and eat bon bons : ).
Ah, we have this problem for, oh, about 9 months of rain every year! I feel your pain! I had to buy a book about arts and crafts, find the local indoor play park and get lots of memberships to other indoor venues here. And the occasional play date makes it all the better. Good luck. You can always send them out in the snow! They'd probably like it!
Sending them out in the snow is what's happening today!!!! We got about 6" of the white stuff last night and this morning, so I think I'll be a nice mom and we'll head over to the sledding hill after lunch. The snow before today was less than desirable...slushy, gunky, dirty, and not fun to play in. We'll see if I can get some shots for my photography class assignment. Sledding may be perfect for figuring out shutter speeds! :)
